The registation should be in my black camel back backpack or in the back of the snowmobile. I am sorry it was always to cold to put them on when I would remember. They are yellow and say 2010 them. Is dad still going to sell that snowmobile to him
And no i dont play basketball every day i play a lot of four square some basketball and I talk to Elder simpson alot because he is leaving. I talk more about him in my written letter he is a great guy. I am trying to be careful because the day i was at the hospital with my companion one kid dislocated his knee and another dislocated his shoulder. The Knee will leave on time but is on crutches until he leaves. The shoulder kid has been here 5 weeks already and has to have surgery and stay an additional 6 or 7 weeks. and i dont want to do that cause this place is bad enough to stay here for 3 weeks.
i also am very greatful for the washing machines and for you always doing it for me. I do actually fold and put all my clothes away amazingly enough. It was a pretty fast week for me this week. and My companion and I rocked the practice teaching appointment. We also have been to the call center we go every monday at 1030.....and you cant call home i tried. i cant call any number with a 801area code. I hope your trip to Arizona and New mexico went good. I also would like you to send me Toquerville an oasis in the desert. I already finished the JC naegle in about a week it was soooooo good. I gotta run love you all and look forward to your letters

Email February 20, 2009

Well i didn't sleep in the temple this morning due to inititories. But i have more detail in my written letter. I am glad to hear bear is still getting a work out. I miss being able to just walk outside and play with him. but i am doing good. I don't have time to write grandpa and marie a letter so just forward some of this. Thanks for the letter and support in your prayers. I met a couple from Taber this morning they had heard of you and Colin but didn't know you personally. Apparently Colins father was the bishop when they were around 8 so i assume that makes them a little younger than you. I like hearing your news as well as what you and marie are up to. Remind me again when Dalin comes in. Cant remember. But love you both and pray for you every day. Love nate

Mom thanks for the package i did get it. In the next one i would like some more Corn nuts and a bag of Sun chips. but that can be later. but i love getting letters it is nice to be able to have something everyday. I dont get the most lettes either. Elder Angell gets like 8 a day and Elder van wagonen gets like 3. i am in 3 place with 1 or 2 a day. i like it so keep it up. love you all
love nate.

E-mail Feb. 13, 2009

Hi mom
i only have a few minutes to send you this email and i just wanted to say that i wrote a real letter so you should get that in the mail this next week and it has a list of a few things i will need this week.
thanks for all the letters and i love that i get one everyday cause it lets me leave this heck hole for a little bit to relax. and its not that bad it is just really long and so many dumb rules. but i am surviving and as for pictures we can only take them on sundays and P day (which is friday) today. and i forgot it when we went to the temple this morning. The temple (which i forgot to mention in my letter) was pretty cool i am turning into dad though. I am able to fall asleep anywhere down here and i absolutely love it. i fell asleep in the session this morining. but i gotta go i got like a minute left.. THANKS FOR ALWAYS DOING MY LAUNDRY IT IS NOT VERY FUN. LOVE YOU ALL and i haven't jumped the fence and run home yet.

talk to you in a week..Hope yours goes good and i pray for you all several times a day.

Love Nathan

Second Letter-February 7, 2009

Dear Family,

I get to write you again today because it is my prep day today. My normal prep day is Friday and it is the only day I get to write letters. Apparently we get to write emails as well, don't know how yet but maybe one day.

First I have some requests of you. 1. I would like each of you to pick a day of the week and write me a letter that day, just short and simple to keep me sane. There are 5 of you and 5 week days, so perfect. 2. Send me some Fiber One bars. 3. Maybe a picture once a week from mom. It can be old, just one to give me a happy memory. That should do it for now.

I am doing well. Spanish is hard but I remember things from Jr. High surprisingly enough. We have learned to pray and greet someone as well as present tense verbs. We are in the classroom almost all day. Some long lost few days that have all blended together (I type them like he writes them...sometimes they don't make sense)

It has been interesting to see how I have adjusted to being with Elder Sorensen 24/7. It is tough, I could kill him, yet he is a likable guy. I think I mentioned that he is related to Larsen, too bad he doesn't have his personality. It sure would liven things up. An example: we taught the first lesson today and he doesn't like talking so is very uncomfortable doing so. So I am basically planning everything and often just sit in silence with my thoughts. It is tough to stay focused.

The food here is good (not Mom's) but it has been strange going from eating when I want throughout the day to three set meals. So pretty much I gorge myself to the point of sickness to make it to the next meal. I still don't think I will gain much weight due to working out and running.

It has been a huge change coming here but I am adjusting. Thank you Mom, Dad, and Natali for your letters the first 2 days. Letters really are like gold here and MUSIC IS SAVING ME. Thank you for the prayers, I am praying for you too. If I left things out that you want to hear about tell me, glad to tell you anything. There is just so much! Love you all.

Love, Nathan.

P.S. Andrew you lucked out with your eyebrow (Andrew threatened to shave Nate's eyebrow before the farewell...luckily he forgot...so then Nate threatened the same thing the day before he left....again, luckily he forgot)

Double P.S. We just went and switched laundry and to the MTC store for Elder Sorenson and he bought all the same things I did this morning! I am annoyed that he makes us do the same thing twice. AH my patience is being tried!

First Letter! February 4, 2009

Dear Family,

It really is SPIRIT PRISON. No, it is really good. There are ten Elders in my District, six going to my mission and four going to Argentina. The rest in my Zone are going to Mexico mainly. Elder Sorenson is my companion and he is from South Summit and is related to the Larsens somehow. The other two Elders are Elder Morris from West Valley and Elder Butler from Houston, Texas. Elders Sorenson and Morris are not anything like me, but E. Butler is like me.

There is definitely a lot to take in in just a few hours. It doesn't seem like I said goodbye just a few hours ago. Parker isn't in my zone or even in the same building. Did see him at lunch though. Lunch was chicken cordon bleu SO GOOD. I ate two plates in the time it took Elder Morris to eat half of one. But, not much else to tell.

Love you all very much and the church is still true. Sorry it was short. Pday is Friday, only day I can write you besides today.

Look forward to hearing from you!!!

Love, Elder Naegle

P.S. Give the dog a hug

You can also use DearElder.com to write letters for FREE. They are printed out by DearElder and delivered to the MTC daily. Also, once Nathan gets to Colombia DearElder can be used to deliver letters to the pouch, which is also FREE.

Dropping Nate off today was difficult for us as a family (mostly just for my Mom and me), but he was excited and we saw many of his friends enter today also. We can't wait to hear about his MTC experience.
